Yvonne Jones

It is with sadness and yet celebration of a long life that the parish announces the passing of our sister Yvonne Jones at the age of 100 years.

Yvonne Violet Jones passed away on February 1, 2016 at Logan Manor, Agassiz. She was 100 years old, having celebrated her last birthday on November 14, 2015.  Yvonne is survived by three sons (Chris, Scott and Neil), nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Raymond in September 2008.  Yvonne and Ray were married for 67 years.  They were members of the Agassiz community and All Saints Anglican congregation since 1980.

Vicar Dave joins the parish in expressing our condolences to the Jones family, sons Neil, Chris and Scott as well as her other relations.

The funeral was at All Saints, Agassiz on Wednesday, February 10th (Ash Wednesday).

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made, in memory of Yvonne, to the charity of your choice which best supports children and families.
