Isiah 50:4-9 // Philippians 2:5-11 // Matthew 26: 14-27: 66

In this age of the pandemic, we are adjusting for our immediate health. We experimented with a zoom service that is attached. Please listen as some parish members prayed, read and reflected on the Passion of Jesus.

The Passion is powerful and reflective of our fears, reactions and weaknesses in our own time. It is important to note that through all the stress and turmoil, Jesus did not loose his focus. "Love God, love self love neighbour, be a servant to all."

This is a challenge for us as our societal norms and ways of being are challenged by change and necessity. No matter what, as Jesus demonstrates, if we focus and hold on to God in a loving way, there is always hope and new life beyond the crisis.
